Google has unveiled its first ETF-related ads policy, which would allow certified Google advertisers to run Bitcoin ETF ads campaigns in compliance with local regulations.

According to the latest Google Ads policy updates,  Google ETF advertisements will debut in the US starting January 29, 2024, paving the way for a broader  reach and opening up access to millions of potential investors.

As per the new ETF ad rule, designated advertisers offering what Google Ads dubbed “cryptocurrency coin trusts” will be subject to the local regulations “for any area that their ads target”, highlighting the growing importance of rules-based advertising in the crypto industry.
