Bitcoin 2025 Vegas Event Teases Game-Changing Talks and Surprise Guests

The Bitcoin 2025 Conference has officially begun today at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, and will run till May 29.  According to the website, the event is hosted by BTC Ince and it is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees and will feature over 400 speakers. 

This event is currently the most high profile crypto gathering of the year and will be packed with topics on politics, finance and even technology. The Bitcoin 2025 Conference has officially begun in Las Vegas, running from May 27 to May 29 at The Venetian Resort. 

Hosted by BTC Inc., the event is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees, positioning itself as the most high-profile crypto gathering of the year. With a packed agenda that merges politics, finance, and technology, this year’s edition underscores Bitcoin’s expanding role in both economic and political arenas.

Organizers introduced a new “Code + Country” track that is designed to highlight Bitcoin’s intersection with national policy and individual sovereignty. 

According to BTC Inc. CEO David Bailey, “Bitcoin is more than just finance now it’s becoming part of the national conversation.”

High-Profile Speakers to Expect 

This is the first time in history a sitting U.S. Vice President(JD Vance) is addressing a cryptocurrency conference. JD Vance, known for his pro-Bitcoin stance and personal holdings reportedly worth up to $500,000, is scheduled to speak on May 28.

His keynote will focus on innovation, financial independence, and the future of a decentralized economic model in the United States.

A number of widely recognized leaders in politics and business join Vance, which include David Sacks, known as the "Crypto Czar," who is the Executive Director of Donald Trump's Council of Advisers for Digital Assets, and U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, who is a vocal advocate for regulating digital assets.

Also on stage will be Bo Hines and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, who will discuss Bitcoin's role in promoting national sovereignty and free speech.The conference also features appearances by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., further signaling the Republican Party’s growing interest in the digital asset space. 

On the tech and industry front, MicroStrategy co-founder and Bitcoin bull Michael Saylor is expected to present on long-term BTC strategy and corporate adoption. Other key topics include Bitcoin Layer 2 innovations, BTCFi (Bitcoin DeFi), and emerging infrastructure solutions aimed at expanding Bitcoin’s utility.

Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road, is one of the more highly contentious figures in connection with the conference. While his direct participation is uncertain, his inclusion on the speaker list has reignited conversations about digital freedom and legal reform within the crypto world.

Beyond the conference halls, the crypto market is watching related macro events, including the release of the Federal Reserve’s May meeting minutes, updated GDP data, and April’s PCE inflation report. 

At the same time, the FTX Recovery Trust will begin distributing over $5 billion to former customers, a move that could influence market liquidity as claimants regain access to funds. With its massive scope and prominent attendees, Bitcoin 2025 is shaping up to be a defining moment in the ongoing evolution of the cryptocurrency industry.
