TRON founder Justin Sun is currently under fire for the Poloniex million dollar heist.
A Telegram group, Poloniex Victims, is calling for the arrest and prosecution of TRON founder Justin Sun.Led by Owen Healy (Poloniex / Justin Sun Victim), a web3 recruitment agent, the group is accusing the Chinese founder of Houbi of complicity in the recent hack that drained the exchange of $125 million.
"Anytime Justin needs money, there is a hack", Owen told On-Chain Media.
"Anyone that's anyway connected knows H.E Justin Sun hacked his exchange for over $120 million. To date, communication from Poloniex has been sparse and they are immediately blocking dissenting voices on Telegram," he added.
On-Chain reporters reached out to Justin for comments on X but all efforts to reach him came to naught.
What We Know So Far
Describing the unfortunate incidents, WhaleWire, a crypto news platform, called it "an exit scam".
"Justin Sun is again claiming it is a "hack"- just like he did last week when his exchange, Poloniex, was "hacked" for $125 million. In reality, there were zero hacks, this is merely insiders exit screaming using the backdoors they built years ago", WhaleWire tweeted.
On-Chain Media spoke to one of the victims of the hacks who identified on Telegram as SCH88888:
"Poloniex froze my funds. I have not had access to my funds for 21 months. Poloniex support ignores me and 1000's of other users like me. You have no idea how many people were affected. You ignored the warning that poloniex is a scam! ", SCH88888 told On-Chain Media."
Have any of you read Poloniex reviews on reddit, trustpilot, play market, bestchange? 10,000 deceived people! Did you hope that it would not affect you?
